TEAM New England (TNE), a non-profit organization that provides an elite academic and athletic experience to inner-city youth, is hosting an annual event — Game Changers.
This event, which has quickly gained buzz, is Boston's most anticipated event this fall. TNE transforms lives by utilizing the power and passion of sports as a vehicle to spark success guided by consistent mentorship and enrichment programming. Game Changers will feature our Host, NBA All-Star Antoine Walker, and a special live performance by ’80s icon Taylor Dayne. Honoring Liberty Mutual’s Damon Hart with the Game Changers Award, and providing eight TNE participants with scholarships, this event is not-to-be-missed!
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception featuring Josh Wines and an immersive journey with TEAM New England. It will conclude with a dine-around dinner, a concert performance, and dancing. More than 300 guests, including corporate sponsors, business owners, philanthropists, influencers, and community leaders, are expected to attend.
The event promises to be a passionate night of stories and tributes with star power and immersive entertainment that you'll never forget.

Three-time NBA All-Star, former Boston Celtic, and NBA Champion Antoine Walker joins Game Changers as Host. Hear about his journey from prospect to stardom and how his lessons apply to Team New England.
As a Celtic, he was one of the most unique players the game has ever seen, a revolutionary talent. He brought comedic relief to the game, and as Host, will bring his wit and charm to the Game Changers program.

Taylor Dayne is an American pop icon with a career spanning three decades. Taylor's groundbreaking debut single “Tell it To My Heart” turned her into an overnight international star in 1987. She followed the smash hit with seventeen Top 20 singles over the course of her three-decade career. Taylor has sold over 75 million albums and singles worldwide, earned three Grammy nominations, an American Music Award, multiple New York Music Awards, received New York Music Hall of Fame honors, and was ranked as the Number 18 best female dance artist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. She is one of the very few artists in musical history to successfully crossover into almost every musical genre and chart with hit singles in Pop, Dance, R&B, Adult Contemporary, and Rock.
In 2018, Taylor celebrated her 30-year anniversary of "Tell It To My Heart." In September 2020, Taylor Dayne competed in the Fox hit show The Masked Singer for the 4th season. She competed as PopCorn and made it to the semi-finals.
Her performances, she explains, are “carefully curated to get the most powerful punch and also reimagine it. So, you’re not listening to 35-year-old music stale.”
“Let’s be honest,” Dayne adds: her audience wants to hear the hits. “But it’s my job to challenge that mentality and do that creatively and take them on the journey with me.”

Damon Hart
We will honor Damon Hart with the Game Changers Award, and provide eight TNE youth participants with scholarships.
Damon Hart proudly carries the torch of diversity, equity, and inclusion for Liberty Mutual’s workforce across the globe. Hart is actively involved in the community coaching youth sports and mentoring rising professionals. He is a founding member of The New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund – a coalition of Black and Brown executives in Massachusetts working to address and eliminate systemic racism and racial inequity.

Founded in 2016, TEAM New England provides academic, mentorship, athletic, and service-learning programs to positively impact the development of youth in marginalized communities in New England.
Serving over 1,000 youth annually, our mission is to change the generational trajectory of underserved youth both domestically and globally by providing esteemed educational and athletic opportunities.
Our vision is to foster equity, inclusion, and accessibility for inner-city youth by guaranteeing access to life-changing experiences and invaluable mentorship through athletics and academics.
